This section contains various articles (or ramblings as my wife would call them) on astronomy and observing. I include some memorable events, observing tips, reviews of books and equipment, and some references to nice to know information.
This series of articles describe how I plan and conduct my observing sessions. The methods I employ are the result of the past eight years of “trial and error” and represent what works best for me. I continually refine and modify my methods, but with less frequency in the last couple of years. My hope is that the reader will find some spark of inspiration in these articles that they may incorporate into their observing sessions.
