710First light for the 35mm Panoptic - December 1, 2002 03:24 UT 

At 111x with the 18mm eyepiece in the 203mm SCT, NGC613 appears as a very faint, elongated, diffuse patch of light with a brighter, diffuse central core. The galaxy is detectable with direct vision. With averted vision, some darker notches are detectable along the edges of the diffusion.
