IDDescription
852Another tour of the Moon - March 10, 2003 01:28 UT

Colongitude: 351°.4, Sunrise Terminator: 8°.6 E In 20x70 binoculars, Aristoteles appears as a large crater near the eastern tip of Mare Frigoris. The edges of the crater are well-defined and the floor of the crater is much lighter than the surrounding surface making the crater easy to identify. A similar crater, Eudoxus lies to the south.
